How To Use A Downloaded .HPT File

  1. Open your stock read in HP Tuners VCM Editor.
  2. Open the purchased file as a compare file.
  3. Review the differences before copying anything.
  4. Copy only the desired tables into your stock read.
  5. Save as a new file so your original backup stays untouched.
  6. Flash at your own risk after verifying compatibility.

FAQ

Is this a custom tune?
No. These are starting-point compare files unless you order a Custom Tune.
Is it guaranteed perfect?
No. Vehicle condition, fuel, OS, injectors, airflow, cam install, converter, and gearing can all change what the vehicle needs.
Do I need HP Tuners?
Yes. These are .HPT files for HP Tuners users.
Are HP Tuners credits included?
No. HP Tuners credits are separate.
Can I copy the whole file?
Only if you know it is compatible. The recommended workflow is Compare & Copy.
What if my vehicle is different?
